The eyewear world is booming due to computer work and aging

With the increasing dependence on digital devices in both professional and personal settings, we are seeing an exponential growth in demand for glasses that protect the eyes from the harmful effects of prolonged screen use. The importance of protection is increasingly recognised in workplaces and computer glasses, or computer glasses, are gradually becoming a standard part of the work environment. These glasses are specifically adapted to the distance between the user and the computer screen, providing not only visual correction but also protection against blue light that can cause fatigue and sleep disorders.

The eyewear world is experiencing unprecedented growth thanks to the increase in screen work and the aging population.

The demand for glasses is further fueled by the aging of the population. Many elderly people experience deteriorating vision and other eye-related problems, which are amplified by prolonged exposure to digital screens. This has led to a growing need for computer glasses that provide both correction for vision problems and protection against blue light. With the number of elderly people expected to continue to rise until at least 2050, the demand for computer glasses is likely to only increase.

As people get older, the need for glasses increases because the eye lens hardens and the muscles that help it focus have to work harder. This makes it possible to see clearly, but is tiring at the same time. Vision problems often start around the age of 44, so most people need reading glasses from that age onwards. Computer glasses soon become a necessity because the distance to the screen is the shortest after reading glasses distances.

Prescription computer glasses

Prescription computer glasses are designed to provide the right correction for vision problems, while also protecting against harmful blue light. These glasses are tailored to the wearer's individual needs, taking into account factors such as distance from the screen and specific viewing habits.

As the aging population increases, the demand for prescription glasses is only expected to grow. The role of these glasses is becoming increasingly prominent, allowing people of all ages to enjoy clear vision and reduce eye fatigue during prolonged use of digital devices.
